When you sign content, we create a cryptographic "fingerprint" of your exact words. Anyone who clicks your verify link sees:
- • Your identity (proven with your passkey)
- • Exactly what you signed
- • When you signed it
- • A 6-character visual code to match
They compare what you signed to what they saw. If it matches = verified. If different = it's fake or edited. We show what was signed and let humans do the final check.
We support you wherever you post your text: Social media platforms (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram), blogs, articles, newsletters, even physical newspapers. You sign your content once, and we provide you with a verification link and QR code that you can attach anywhere. The beauty: One signature protects content across all platforms. If someone screenshots your post and shares it elsewhere, your signature still verifies.
Never. Your private key lives in your device's secure enclave (same place Apple stores Face ID data). We only store your public key, which is used to verify signatures but can't be used to create them. Even if we're hacked, attackers can't sign content as you.
Modern passkeys sync across your devices (iCloud Keychain, Google Password Manager). If you lose your phone, sign in from your laptop — your passkey is still there. If you lose all devices, contact support. We can help you revoke the old key and create a new one (with verification).
Not yet. For the MVP, proofs are stored in a secure database with cryptographic signatures. This is faster, cheaper, and easier.
Phase 2: We'll add blockchain anchoring (daily batches) for extra permanence. Your proofs will be cryptographically verifiable even if our service goes down. You get the security you need now, with an upgrade path to full decentralization later.
Your proof survives. We store what you signed, so even if X or Instagram removes your post, you can still prove "this is what I said, and here's when I said it." Useful for journalists, whistleblowers, or anyone documenting censorship.
Yes! Verification is always free and never requires login. Only creators who want to sign content need an account.
Currently, we don't enable direct signing of images and videos. However, you can attach our QR code to your visual content and write a proof statement for users to verify. This can include a description of the content and, if relevant, a declaration about whether AI was used in creation. If you can't embed the QR code directly in the image or video, simply attach it to the description or caption underneath.
Fact-checkers verify if content is true. We verify if content is authentic, meaning it actually came from who claims to have said it. Think of it this way: A politician can sign a provably false statement. Our system confirms "Yes, they really said this," but it doesn't judge whether the statement itself is accurate. We place trust where it belongs, on the signer. Their history of signed statements tells the real story of their integrity. Time and transparency do the rest.
